The Veritas Christian Academy Warriors volleyball squad (Arden, NC), was edged 2-1 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs (Cowpens, SC)

The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Temple Baptist (Asheville, NC). The Eagles enter the contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Temple Baptist got by Christian Family Academy (Conover, NC), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Warriors meet the Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors (Lake Lure, NC) in a contest, on Thursday, September 25. Veritas Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Raptors enter the contest with a 0-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to Christian Family Academy (Conover, NC).
