In Friday's league outing, the host Davies Career & Tech Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 7-2 win over the Block Island .

The Patriots (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI). The Scarlet Knights enter the Division 3 test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Exeter-West Greenwich was overwhelmed by Johnston (Johnston, RI), 2-1, in a league test.

The now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a Division 3 test on Tuesday, September 23. Block Island will clash with a Kilties team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 1-5.
