The Bryan Station Defenders soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Model Patriots to 0 in the Defenders non-league victory on Friday.
The Defenders now hold a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Cooper for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. Bryan Station will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Conner (Hebron, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Model moves to 4-8 on the year. The Patriots host South Laurel (London, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 4-5. South Laurel lost 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Wayne County (Monticello, KY)
