The Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD) soccer the host Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD), 5-2 in Friday's league challenge.
The Indians now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Decatur for a Class 3A East II challenge on Wednesday, September 24. Wicomico will battle a Seahawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Snow Hill (Snow Hill, MD). The Seahawks record now stands at 4-0.
The Buccaneers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD). The Colonels go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Colonel Richardson by St. Michaels (St. Michaels, MD), 4-1, in a league contest.
