The Spartans (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Allendale (Allendale, MI). The Falcons enter the non-league battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Allendale Western Michigan Christian (Muskegon, MI), 2-2, in a non-league match.

The Lions now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee for a non-league match on Monday, September 22. Newaygo will meet a Legends team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Wellspring Prep (Grand Rapids, MI). The Legends record now stands at 6-5.
