The Stonewall Longhorns (Stonewall, OK) softball nipped the host Earlsboro Wildcats (Earlsboro, OK), 3-2 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Longhorns now sport a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they host Asher for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Stonewall will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Varnum (Seminole, OK). The Indians record now stands at 18-6.
The Wildcats (20-10) will now prepare for their test against Maysville (Maysville, OK). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Maysville was nudged by McLoud (McLoud, OK), 4-0, in a non-league outing.
