The Chaparral Firebirds volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting ALA - Queen Creek Patriots to 0 in the Firebirds non-league triumph on Friday.

The Firebirds now sport a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Desert Mountain for a non-league game on Saturday, September 20. Chaparral will confront a Wolves squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 6-10.

The Patriots (12-7) will now prepare for their game against Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Flagstaff gained a win over Cienega (Vail, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league game.
