The Pioneers (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Defenders enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Bryan Station beat Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 19. Anderson County will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Generals go into the test with a 7-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Woodford County (Versailles, KY).
