The Mavericks now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Thatcher for a 3A - South outing on Monday, October 6.

With the loss, San Tan Foothills drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Sabercats travel to Payson (Payson, AZ) to play the Longhorns in a 3A - Metro game on Tuesday, September 23. The Longhorns enter the game with a record of 15-3. Payson won 3-1 in their recent league game against ALA - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ)
