The Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) volleyball overcame the host Calabasas Coyotes (Calabasas, CA), 2-0 in Friday's non-league match.
The Toreadors (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA). The Rough Riders enter the non-league battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Roosevelt achieved victory over Garfield (Los Angeles, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Coyotes now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Park for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Calabasas will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Camarillo (Camarillo, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
