In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Christian County Colonels volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hopkins County Central Storm.
The Colonels (11-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Carlisle County gained a win over Fulton City (Fulton, KY), 3-0, in a league game.
The Storm (1-15) will now prepare for their game against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Tigers go into the District 7 game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Caldwell County went down by Henderson County (Henderson, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
