The Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Churchland Truckers (Portsmouth, VA), 3-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Cavaliers now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Deep Creek for a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, September 23. Lakeland will battle a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league win over King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-5.

Next, the Truckers battle the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern contest, on Monday, September 22. Churchland will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Greyhounds enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA).
