Texas High School Volleyball - Goliad over Cuero

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Goliad Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cuero Gobblers.

The Tigers (27-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 9-14 record. In their last challenge, Nixon-Smiley was beaten by Marion (Marion, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gobblers meet the John F. Kennedy Rockets (San Antonio, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 28 test, on Tuesday, September 23. Cuero will attempt to advance on its 16-17 season record.
