In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pine Crest Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Cypress Bay Lightning.

The Panthers (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Divine Savior Academy (Doral, FL). The Sharks enter the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Divine Savior Academy beat Florida Christian (Miami, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lightning meet the Saint Andrew's Scots (Boca Raton, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Cypress Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over St. John Paul II Academy (Boca Raton, FL).
