The Elgin Owls volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Navajo Indians to 1 in the Owls non-league triumph on Friday.
The Owls now have a 4-24 record. They play next when they host Minco for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. Elgin will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Guymon (Guymon, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
The Indians (16-5) will now prepare for their game against Guymon (Guymon, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 11-10 record. In their last game, Guymon nudged Amber-Pocasset (Amber, OK), 2-0, in a non-league game.
