In Friday's league challenge, the host Maricopa Institute of Technology Iron Eagles volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Empower College Prep Wolf.

The Iron Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Trinity Christian (Prescott, AZ). The Warriors go into the CAA D3 Roadrunner test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Trinity Christian nudged BASIS - Scottsdale (Scottsdale, AZ), 3-0, in a league test.

The Wolf now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Christian for a CAA D3 Roadrunner game on Monday, October 20.
