The Shining Light Academy Knights edged the visiting Fayetteville Street Christian Patriots volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Knights confront the Raleigh Christian Academy Eagles (Raleigh, NC) in a NCCSA A District 4 - East Region outing, on Monday, September 22. Shining Light Academy will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 9-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC).

With the loss, Fayetteville Street Christian drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Patriots host Mount Calvary Christian (Archdale, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, October 7. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 1-8.
