Arizona High School Volleyball - Highland Prep West can't get by Metro Tech

The Metro Tech Knights edged the visiting Highland Prep West HORNETS volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Knights confront the Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) in a 5A - Metro game, on Tuesday, September 23. Metro Tech will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Stampede go into the game with a 2-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ).

With the loss, Highland Prep West drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Chino Valley (Chino Valley, AZ) to play the Cougars in a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 2-6. Chino Valley lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ)
