In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Marshall Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Jefferson Jaguars.

The Tigers (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Lakeville South beat Eagan (Eagan, MN), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars play the Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 5-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Moorhead (Moorhead, MN).
