In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lakeland Christian Academy Lions volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Varsity Opponent .

The Lions (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Paul's Prep (Arlington, TX). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last game, St. Paul's Prep nudged Faith Lutheran (Plano, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
