In Friday's league challenge, the visiting London Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Odem Owls.

The Pirates (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX). The Panthers come into the 3A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 7-18 record. In their last challenge, Aransas Pass was beaten by Mathis (Mathis, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Owls face the George West Longhorns (George West, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 test, on Tuesday, September 23. Odem will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Longhorns go into the test with a 13-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to London (Corpus Christi, TX).
