Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Warren East Raiders (Bowling Green, KY) and the host Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY), observed Warren East's volleyball team top Marshall County by a count of 2-0.

The Raiders (17-6) will now prepare for their contest against University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY). The Blazers enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, University Heights achieved victory over Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Marshals now own a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan County for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Marshall County will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Russellville (Russellville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 8-5.
