Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Oologah Mustangs (Oologah, OK) and the visiting Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK), observed Oologah's volleyball team top Newcastle by a count of 2-0.

The Mustangs (17-8) will now prepare for their battle against Weatherford (Weatherford, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 19-2 record. In their last battle, Weatherford achieved victory over Elgin (Elgin, OK), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Racers now own a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norman for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Newcastle will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Edmond Santa Fe (Edmond, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.
