Purdy Eagles (Purdy, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Northeast Vernon County Knights (Walker, MO), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheaton (Wheaton, MO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Wheaton lost by School of the Ozarks (Point Lookout, MO), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights play the Golden City Eagles (Golden City, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Northeast Vernon County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Purdy (Purdy, MO).
