In Friday's non-league match, the Notre Dame Academy Regal Gryphons (Los Angeles, CA) volleyball squad tipped the host Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Regal Gryphons battle the Marymount Sailors (Los Angeles, CA) in a Mission match, on Tuesday, September 23. Notre Dame Academy will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Sailors enter the match with a 20-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV).
The Vikings (9-9) will now prepare for their bout against Oak Park (Oak Park, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Oak Park was nudged by Camarillo (Camarillo, CA), 3-0, in a league bout.
