The Hooper Academy Colts football team (Hope Hull, AL), was beaten 29-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Abbeville Christian Academy Generals (Abbeville, AL)

The Generals (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL). The Wildcats come into the AISA AA Region I challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Edgewood Academy was beaten by Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL), 49-14, in a league challenge.

The Colts now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Macon-East Montgomery Academy for a AISA AA Region I challenge on Friday, September 9. Hooper Academy will meet a Knights team coming off a 30-13 non-league win over Wilcox Academy (Camden, AL). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.
