South Dakota High School Football - Alcester-Hudson topples Burke

September 2, 2022: Burke, SD 57523

The Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) football defeated the host Burke Cougars (Burke, SD), 30-8 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Cubs face the Garretson Blue Dragons (Garretson, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 9. Alcester-Hudson will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Blue Dragons enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 49-0 non-league loss to Hamlin (Hayti, SD).

The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Colome (Colome, SD). The Cowboys enter the Great Plains (9 Man) bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Colome defeated Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD), 26-20, in a league bout.
