Utah High School Football - Maple Mountain drops to Alta

September 2, 2022: Spanish Fork, UT 84040

In Friday's non-league game, the Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT) football team knocked off the host Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), by a score of 28-19.

The Hawks (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Davis (Kaysville, UT). The Darts come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Davis toppled Layton (Layton, UT), 26-23, in a league game.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Provo for a 5A Region 9 game on Friday, September 9. Maple Mountain will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-28 non-league win over Viewmont (Bountiful, UT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
