Arizona High School Football - Anthem Prep trounces Mayer

In Friday's non-league match, the host Anthem Prep Eagles football squad scored a big 58-16 victory over the Mayer Wildcats.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Tempe Prep Knights (Tempe, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 9. Anthem Prep will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.

The Wildcats now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mogollon for a 1A North (8 Man) game on Friday, September 9. Mayer will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 42-34 non-league loss to Hayden (Winkelman, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
