    The Aquilla Cougars football squad scored 52 points and restricted the host Milford Bulldogs to 40 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

    The Cougars now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakwood for a non-league battle on Friday, September 9. Aquilla will face a Panthers squad coming off a 55-6 non-league win over Campbell (Campbell, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.

    Coming up next, the Bulldogs face the Calvert Trojans (Calvert, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 9. Milford will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 54-34 non-league loss to BVCHEA HomeSchool (Bryan, TX).
