Maryland High School Football - Atholton victorious over Wilde Lake

In Friday's league match, the host Atholton Raiders football squad scored a good 22-0 victory over the Wilde Lake Wildecats.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD) in a Howard County match, on Friday, September 9. Atholton will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Gladiators enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 35-8 league win over Hammond (Columbia, MD).

The Wildecats (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD). The Scorpions enter the Howard County match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Oakland Mills was toppled by Centennial (Ellicott City, MD), 25-14, in a league match.
