    The Beechcroft Cougars football team (Columbus, OH), was ripped 59-24 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH)

    The Golden Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hayes (Delaware, OH). The Pacers come into the Ohio Capital - Capital challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Hayes trounced Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH), 45-10, in a non-league challenge.

    The Cougars now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bexley for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 8. Beechcroft will meet a Lions team coming off a 36-7 league loss to KIPP Columbus (Columbus, OH). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
