The Princeton Tigers thwarted the visiting Bluefield Beavers football team by a count of 28-7 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Princeton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV) to encounter the Red Devils in a Coalfield AA outing on Friday, September 9. The Red Devils go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Oak Hill lost 40-0 in their recent league outing against Independence (Coal City, WV)

With the loss, Bluefield moves to 0-2 on the season. The Beavers host Pulaski County (Dublin, VA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 8. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Pulaski County lost 35-28 in their recent non-league outing against Tennessee (Bristol, TN)
