In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Holmes Bulldogs football squad scored a good 18-8 victory over the Boone County Rebels.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Newport Wildcats (Newport, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 9. Holmes will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 31-16 non-league win over Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY).
The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Juggernauts enter the non-league match with a 1-2 record.
