The Southview Cougars football squad scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Brush Arcs to 7 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield for a Northern Lakes test on Friday, September 9. Southview will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 50-37 non-league loss to Clay (Oregon, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Brush drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Arcs host East (Akron, OH) to battle the Dragons in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 0-3. East lost 31-13 in their recent non-league test against Lake (Uniontown, OH)
