The Buena Chiefs football team (Buena, NJ), was beaten 35-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Gloucester City Lions (Gloucester City, NJ)

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Overbrook (Pine Hill, NJ). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Overbrook achieved victory over Bordentown (Bordentown, NJ), 20-13, in a non-league challenge.

The Chiefs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Clayton for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Buena will meet a Clippers team coming off a 27-14 league loss to Lower Cape May (Cape May, NJ). The Clippers record now stands at 0-1.
