    Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the visiting Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX), 38-3 in a non-league test.

    With the win, Lone Star improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rangers travel to Reedy (Frisco, TX) to confront the Lions in a 5A-1 Region II District 6 test on Friday, September 9. The Lions go into the test with a record of 2-0. Reedy won 41-7 in their recent non-league test against Denison (Denison, TX)

    With the loss, Burleson moves to 0-2 on the season. The Elks travel to Weatherford (Weatherford, TX) to confront the Kangaroos in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Kangaroos go into the test with a record of 2-0. Weatherford won 41-31 in their recent non-league test against Pearce (Richardson, TX)
