The Calhoun Red Devils football team (Mt. Zion, WV), was beaten 62-34 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Valley LunberJacks (Pine Grove, WV)
The LunberJacks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV). The Cee Bees come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Clay-Battelle was beaten by East Hardy (Baker, WV), 59-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Red Devils now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Marys for a Little Kanawha challenge on Friday, September 9. Calhoun will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 56-13 league win over Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-1.
