Pennsylvania High School Football - Lakeland trounces Carbondale Area

September 2, 2022: Jermyn, PA 18433

In Friday's non-league match, the host Lakeland Chiefs football squad scored a big 52-7 victory over the Carbondale Area Chargers.

In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 9. Lakeland will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 30-8 non-league win over Mid Valley (Throop, PA).

The Chargers (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA). The Hawkeyes enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Hanover Area was crushed by Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA), 49-14, in a non-league match.
