The Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) football routed the host Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD), 43-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD) in a Dakota 12 bout, on Friday, September 9. Tri-Valley will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Redmen enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 47-12 league loss to Deuel (Clear Lake, SD).

The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD). The Comets enter the Black Hills - Crazy Horse bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Rapid City Christian was crushed by More (Rapid City, SD), 27-14, in a non-league bout.
