The Deer Creek Warriors football squad scored 50 points and limited the visiting Sharkey Issaquena Academy Confederates to 26 in the Warriors league win on Friday.
The Warriors now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host West Memphis Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, September 9. Deer Creek will play a Black Knights squad coming off a 38-6 non-league win over Tunica Academy (Tunica, MS). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-0.
Coming up next, the Confederates play the Prentiss Christian Saints (Prentiss, MS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 9. Sharkey Issaquena Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Saints go into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 42-22 league loss to Newton County Academy (Decatur, MS).
