In Friday's non-league game, the Williston Coyotes (Williston, ND) football team knocked off the visiting Dickinson Midgets (Dickinson, ND), by a final score of 27-14.
The Coyotes (1-2) will now prepare for their game against St. Mary's Central (Bismarck, ND). The Saints come into the AA West game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, St. Mary's Central toppled Bismarck (Bismarck, ND), 20-16, in a league game.
The Midgets now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watford City for a A West game on Friday, September 9. Dickinson will battle a Wolves team coming off a 45-7 non-league loss to Valley City (Valley City, ND). The Wolves record now stands at 0-3.
