The Rock Ridge Phoenix football team (Ashburn, VA), was beaten 51-22 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host East Rockingham (Elkton, VA)
The (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Falcons come into the Shenandoah challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Central Woodstock achieved victory over Madison County (Madison, VA), 37-0, in a league challenge.
The Phoenix now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hampshire for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Rock Ridge will meet a Trojans team coming off a 50-3 non-league loss to Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.
