The East Rowan Mustangs football team (Salisbury, NC), was beaten 35-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC)

The Hornets (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, South Rowan was beaten by Robinson (Concord, NC), 48-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Davidson for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. East Rowan will meet a Black Knights team coming off a 28-21 non-league loss to Davie (Mocksville, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 0-3.
