Ohio High School Football - Elgin crushed by Mt. Gilead

Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), 42-6 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mt. Gilead improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Loudonville (Loudonville, OH) to battle the Redbirds in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Redbirds come into the test with a record of 2-1. Loudonville won 14-0 in their recent non-league test against Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH)

With the loss, Elgin drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Perry (Lima, OH) to battle the Commodores in a Northwest Central test on Friday, September 9. The Commodores come into the test with a record of 0-3. Perry lost 56-13 in their recent non-league test against Jefferson (Delphos, OH)
