The Elmira Falcons football team (Elmira, OR), was ripped 41-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR)

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Crook County (Prineville, OR). The Cowboys come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Crook County trounced Philomath (Philomath, OR), 24-21, in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cottage Grove for a 4A Special District 3 challenge on Friday, September 9. Elmira will meet a Lions team coming off a 26-0 non-league loss to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
