Arizona High School Football - La Joya Community crushed by Fairfax

September 2, 2022: Avondale, AZ 85323

In Friday's non-league game, the Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) football team smashed the host La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), by a score of 34-0.

The Stampede (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Cougars come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Casa Grande overwhelmed Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ), 42-0, in a non-league game.

The Fighting Lobos now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Mountain for a non-league game on Thursday, September 8. La Joya Community will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 47-0 non-league win over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-0.
