The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears football squad scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Linsly Cadets to 24 in the Polar Bears non-league victory on Friday.

The Polar Bears now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Preston for a Big Ten battle on Friday, September 9. Fairmont Senior will face a Knights squad coming off a 34-10 league loss to North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.
