The Foothill Knights held off the host Galena Grizzlies football team by a count of 10-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Troy (Fullerton, CA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Troy won 29-14 in their recent non-league outing against Irvine (Irvine, CA)

With the loss, Galena moves to 2-1 on the season. The Grizzlies host Carson (Carson City, NV) to confront the Senators in a 5A Northern outing on Friday, September 9. The Senators go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Carson lost 34-2 in their recent non-league outing against Basic (Henderson, NV)
