The Hamlin Chargers football squad scored 49 points and restricted the host Garretson Blue Dragons to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Friday.

The Chargers now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Britton-Hecla for a non-league battle on Friday, September 9. Hamlin will play a Braves squad coming off a 52-14 league win over Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD). The Braves record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Blue Dragons play the Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 9. Garretson will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Cubs enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 30-8 league win over Burke (Burke, SD).
